Normal service will resume here on or after 3 Jan 2012. Until then, please enjoy these images…

Our White Christmas came a week early this year. However, for the record, this photo was taken last year.
Remember the words of Edward O Wilson, who pointed out that
we are not the most important species on the planet, which would work perfectly OK if we were not here:

It is things like this that keep everything running smoothly...
Finally, although it is quite possibly one of the most over-photographed National Trust properties in North Wales, I was very fortunate to return to Bodnant Gardens this year on an unseasonably warm (why
does that keep happening?) 1st day of May, to see the most amazing display of magnolias, rhododendrons et al.

Louis Armstrong (and/or
David Attenborough) was right, it is a truly Wonderful World. Let’s just hope we can keep it that way…

About Rick Altman
Possibly just another 'Climate Cassandra' crying 'Wolf' in cyberspace. However, the moral of the old children's story is that the Wolf eventually turned up!
Merry Christmas, Rick, hope you and your family have a great holiday and that all your wishes come true. (including the end of fossil fuel burning) 🙂
